iPhone: the Game Center sheet

On iPhone, after the first tutorial, Apple may show its own Game Center sheet over the game: “Welcome to Game Center”, a sign-in, or a page to set your Game Center nickname and picture.

What to do

• It is Apple's screen, not the game's. You can set your nickname, sign in, or simply close it.
• You do not need Game Center to play. It does not save your hotel: to keep your progress safe, use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google in Settings > Account.
• If you use Game Center, your Game Center name shows in Settings > Account.

It came up at a bad moment

In earlier test versions the sheet could appear at every start or right as a video began, and its nickname field sometimes got no keyboard. The latest version waits for a calm moment: never during a video, a popup or a story scene. Update to the latest version in the TestFlight app.

Turn Game Center off

Open the iPhone Settings app > Game Center and sign out, or change your nickname there. The game works the same without it.
